Grounds To Gardens
Rooted in Legacy. Grown with Love.
At Grounds To Gardens we care for land the way it deserves to be cared for—with skill, soul, and intention. Grounds to Gardens is a woman-owned, Dexter-based business offering everything from lawn mowing and mulch installs to regenerative garden beds and hand-crafted natural goods. Whether we’re restoring a property, planting herbs, or power washing a patio, we bring the same grounded care and personal touch to every job. Our methods are conscientious. Our team is strong and kind. And our work is always done with heart.

What We Offer
At Grounds to Gardens, we offer more than just landscaping—we bring heart, care, and craftsmanship to everything we do.

The Gardens
NEWLY OPENED
Summer 2025

What began with a few backyard beds has blossomed into The Gardens—a seasonal offering from Grounds to Gardens rooted in healing, beauty, and tradition. We grow lavender, strawberries, veggies, and herbs using no-till methods and a whole lot of love. We also handcraft small-batch natural products like comfrey salve, pit paste deodorant, and earth-friendly laundry soap. Everything we grow and make is designed to nourish your body, your home, and the land.

Support Our Mission

At Grounds to Gardens, we believe caring for the Earth and each other should be accessible to all. Our work goes beyond landscaping—it's about restoring land, nurturing community, and offering healing spaces to those who need them most.
We’ve launched a donation fund to help expand this mission in two key areas:
-
💚 Sponsor a Family in Need – We believe that everyone deserves to live in a space that feels cared for, beautiful, and nourishing—regardless of their financial situation. That’s why each year, we donate a portion of our profits to support individuals and families in need within our community.
We’ve had the honor of serving seniors, people with disabilities, and families facing hardship, offering services like mowing, seasonal cleanups, and garden installations at little to no cost.
Through our Sponsor a Family in Need program, we commit to covering 50% of the service costs—and with your support, we can cover the rest.

-
🌿 Support the growth of The Gardens – Fuel the growth of our natural products, homegrown vegetables, and plant-based healing offerings—each one cultivated with care, intention, and soul right here on the land.
From soil to salve, every item we grow or create reflects our commitment to working in harmony with nature. Our restorative veggie gardens are designed to regenerate the soil, nourish the body, and reconnect families to real food. Alongside them, we offer herbs, flowers, and handcrafted wellness products made from plants we’ve lovingly tended.
By supporting The Gardens Division, you’re not just helping something grow—you’re helping restore balance, health, and hope to both land and community.

Will you join us?
Together, we can offer more than landscaping—we can offer dignity, peace, and a renewed sense of hope to those who need it most.
